This site is for people that are new to boating (particularly sailing) who would like to enjoy cruising. There are many things that we have learned over the 40 years or so on the water. Without a little knowledge a weekend cruise can easily turn into a very uncomfortable experience or worse. Each article is the result of someone asking me a question over the last few years. I have decided to write down my answers and invite others to comment so that more people can have a more enjoyable time on the water.
